& “NComputing Technology”

Charley D. Jin of Frontech Inc. will speak to the Atlanta PC Users Group on Wednesday, May 12, at 7:00 PM.  The meeting will be held at the Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church.  The topics will be “Easily Upgrade XP Hardware” and “NComputing Technology”.

One of the biggest challenges in deciding whether to keep or abandon Windows XP is the extensive investment in application software and peripheral hardware.  Charley Jin and Frontech have found an elegant process to refresh the hardware running Windows XP and still keep most or all of the application software and peripheral hardware installed.  This process minimizes the time and effort associated with the refresh.

Virtualization is another concept that can boost productivity for multi-system installations.  The use of “NComputing Technology” is a way to minimize the cost of hardware and allow multiple users to access applications and data from one source in a virtual environment.

Frontech Inc. is a multimillion-dollar company providing installation and service for computers and networks.  Frontech also designs and implements video surveillance systems for corporations and US Government accounts. 

Charley D. Jin co-founded Frontech Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia in 1994.  Prior to founding Frontech, Charley worked as a Sales Engineer at the Atlanta headquarters for Superior Cable Corporation from 1991 to 1994.  In this position he was in charge of sales and development for fiber optical cables, cable standards and cable specifications.  From 1988 to 1991 he worked as project and process engineer at the company’s Brownwood Plant in Texas.
